Yarrawarra is situated in the homelands of the Garby Elders and the Gumbaynggirr people. Surrounded by tranquil bushland, pristine beaches and abundant wildlife. The Yarrawarra Aboriginal Cultural Centre boosts a first rate Bush Tucker Cafe, exceptional Indigenous art gallery, cultural programs, accommodation, events centre and Cultural Heritage Research Unit. Special events include Aboriginal art classes, Gumbaynggirr lingo classes, story sessions, dance shows and instruction, clay modelling classes, traditional basket weaving, and tours of Aboriginal sites.

The Wadjar Regional Indigenous Art Gallery showcases the works of regional indigenous artists, artisans, and craftspeople. It is also the home of the Annual Saltwater Freshwater Indigenous Art Award. The gallery features an extensive display of regionally produced traditional and contemporary arts and crafts, books, clothing, CDs and gift ware.

The Clarence River will come alive with boats, competitors and officials, when the river's two major rowing regattas are held at Memorial Park in Grafton.
The Head of the Clarence River Regatta is expected to draw a large number of schools to compete. In the past crews have came from New Zealand, Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney, Gold Coast and, of course, the competitive Clarence Valley schools.
On Sunday, the Grafton Rowing Club's annual regatta will be held, with the majority of teams staying over to compete, plus the addition of the North Coast's many master competitors.

Festival of Small Halls is a series of tours that takes the best folk and contemporary acoustic artists performing at two of Australia's largest festivals, and sends them on the road to tiny halls in communities all over Australia.
