𝗥𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝟭 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗗𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺: Congratulations to Cooran State School P & C who received $2000 in this round to fund an upgrade to their school garden which will include a sustainable wicking bed system, creating a long-lasting, hands-on learning space that supports sustainability education and student well-being. 𝗥𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝟭 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗗𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺: Permaculture Noosa & Cooroy Community Gardens received $1100 in this round to assist with the purchase of a laptop. This will enable their group to print up labels, signs, keeping records of volunteers and guests attending the gardens. Custodians of the Cooroy Community Gardens, permaculture is a wholistic approach to land use and life.

𝗥𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝟭 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗗𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺: Congratulations to Maximillian Martin on receiving a $1000 donation in this round. A recent Noosa District State High School graduate, he as been accepted into the Queensland College of Dance Diploma of Musical Theatre course which commenced in February this year. The Cooroy RSL are proud to be part of enabling him to develop his talent and pursue his passion.

𝗥𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝟭 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗗𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺: $1500 was donated to The Probus Club of Tewantin Noosa who provide friendship, fellowship, fun and support for elderly citizens in the Noosa-Tewantin area as well as Cooroy, Eumundi, Pomona and surrounding areas. The donation in this round will be used for bus hire for their various outings as many of their members are not longer able to drive.

𝗥𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝟭 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗗𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺: Waves Of Kindness Cooroy received $2000 in this round to establish and continue a weekly social friendship group with the Cooroy Community Gardens, aimed at strengthening communication in a relaxed and welcoming environment. The program will contribute to improved wellbeing, mental health and community connection.

𝗥𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝟭 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗗𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺: Congratulations to the The Roadrunner Car Club Inc. received a $2000 donation in this round of funding which will cover a substantial part of their annual Noosa Charity Car Show. This year their fundraising efforts will benefit Sunshine Butterflies a local not-for-profit Disability Support Service and Charity based at Cooroibah.

𝗥𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝟭 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗗𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺: The Pomona & District Kindergarten received a $2000 donation in this round to assist upgrading the kindergarten's creek system into a much-loved play space that supports hands-on learning, environmental awareness and connection to nature. The upgrade will help with water flow, safety and sustainability ensuring the area remains accessible and fit for purpose. 𝗥𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝟭 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗗𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺: Noosa Pathfinders received $2000 in this round to supported 14-16 year old to have the opportunity to attend an 8-day Teen Expedition to North West Island. The expedition requires each Pathfinder to take and prepare all of their own food with limited access to fresh water. The Club looks forward to hearing about your July adventure!
