Sunday night and just opened my new favourite Chardonnay from Whistle Post Wines in South Australia. Described as an elegant and restrained modern style Chardonnay with flavours of yellow stone fruits, crème edges, citrus, unoaked and slightly lower alcohol content. VERY drinkable.

We loved celebrating Melbourne Cup with .este at Whistle Post yesterday. The event raised much needed funds for local charity Four Reasons Why.

The drink of the day was the Whistle Post rosé spritz. Made using our dry style rosé this spritz is both fruity and refreshing 🌸

Here is the recipe for you to make and enjoy at home

Ice
1 (750ml) bottle Whistle Post rosé
2 cups lemonade
1 can soda
strawberries, sliced

Mix rosé, lemonade and strawberries in a
large jug filled with ice. Top with soda.
Pour into 8 glasses and enjoy!

This is a special drop to celebrate International Cabernet Sauvignon Day. It’s a limited release and it does not disappoint!

Harvested 8 years ago, aged for almost 2 years… this cab sav is a beautiful full bodied red. Full of flavours of dark fruits of plum and blackcurrant and has just the right amount of spice that makes a smooth perfectly aged red that even non red drinkers would enjoy.

We enjoyed this bottle over the delicious platter pictured thanks to J and the relaxing sounds of our children living their best life 🌪

We have been waiting patiently for two years to share this with you. This traditional method sparkling wine is made using a blend of our best Pinot Noir (60%) and Chardonnay (40%). Small batch picked, blended, bottle fermented then aged on lees, ensuring a depth of flavour and elegant bubbles 🥂

We’re back ! 🍷 With the easing of restrictions in South Australia we are so excited to welcome you back to our cellar door. We are following all Government advice to keep guests as safe as possible including seated tastings, safe distancing and cleaning between each group.
