Last night this order had the kitchen doing a little double take 😂🍄

“Steak, double mushroom sauce and double mash.”

The kitchen initially thought they’d misread it and the customer had asked for extra mushrooms… but nope! They meant DOUBLE EVERYTHING! 😂

So we delivered exactly what was ordered:

🥩 A cracking steak
🍄🍄 Double mushroom sauce
🥔🥔 Double creamy mash

Because sometimes… one serve of mash simply isn’t enough! 😂

And honestly, looking at this plate, we’re not judging. 🤤

What a special glimpse into the Comet pub back in the 1970-1980’s.

Seeing the old pub, the publican at the time, the pool and all the people enjoying a good time really brings the history of this place to life. 🍻

It’s pretty amazing to think about how many stories, characters, laughs and good times these walls have seen over the years.

From the late 1800’s to today, the Comet pub has continued to be a place where people come together, share a drink and make memories. ❤️
