We had a dream to see more great pubs and bars of Australia serving super fresh IPA just bursting with juicy hops. After spending time in the US West Coast enjoying all their wonderful IPA’s, we became obsessed with the best of them and knew we had to bring that experience back home. Everything about the magical flower and the compounds within that give great beer a lot of its aroma, flavour and b
itterness. Four different new world hop varieties have gone into our IPA at all stages of the brewing process to lend a big juicy, fruity aroma, robust flavour and firm bitterness. There is a clean pale malt backbone with a few specialty malts for good measure, just enough carry the ridiculously large hopping regime! This beer is for people with great taste, who love a modern day classic IPA!

This Friday, September 6th, we're saying goodbye to the Incubator. It's been a place of laughter, friendship, and unforgettable memories. We've poured countless pints and watched this fantastic community grow.
To celebrate our final days, join us for a beer and pizza party from 12pm. Let's raise a pint to the incredible journey we've shared together.
While the Incubator may be closing, the Fixation brand will continue to thrive. Keep an eye out for our IPAs on tap at your local pub or in tinnies at all good bottleshops.

Dearest Fixie and Incubator fans,
As The Incubator enters its 7th year of trading, it is with a heavy heart we announce that we have made the difficult decision to not renew the lease on our 414 Smith St Collingwood venue. The headwinds facing small craft beer hospitality venues in Australia are well documented, and unfortunately for us it isn’t viable to commit to a new lease term in the current climate. From the bottom of our pint glasses and hearts, we thank all of you who have visited us over the years, our dedicated team members, industry partners and our fiercely loyal supporters of our beer and brand.
For those of you who have gotten to know those smiling faces behind the bar and the brews at Smith St, know that they are being supported and given other opportunities where appropriate and available.
While the doors of the Incubator may be closing, the Fixation brand will continue, and you’ll still be able to find our delicious IPAs on tap at your local pubs and in tinnies at all good bottleshops.
Our final day of trade will be Friday September 6th. Pop in for a beer before then, we would love to see you and please share your favourite Incubator stories with the team. We raise a glass to you all, thank you for your support over the last few years. Cheers 🍻

IPA DAY '24 was a huge success! Thanks to all that came out to celebrate with us. We had a blast pouring our favourite hoppy brews and hanging out with our amazing community. As usual, the slices from were top-notch! Can't wait to do it all again next year!! 🍺

Working in craft breweries for years the team behind Fixation Brewing Co. discovered what they loved about the good beer industry, and that was amazingly FRESH IPA’s! The only problem was a lot of other breweries simply didn’t focus on IPA, so by the time we bought one it had a bit of age on it, and wasn’t at its best. It just didn’t do them, or the brewers justice.
The Fixation team had a dream to see more great pubs and bars of Australia serving up super fresh IPA just bursting with juicy hops! After spending plenty of time on the US West Coast enjoying all their wonderful IPA’s, we became obsessed with the best of them and knew we had to bring that experience back home.
Founded in 2105, the Fixation team is lead by a man who has a fanatical passion for the style. Enter, Tom Delmont.
Tom Delmont started working in the good beer industry in 2007 and has been a larger than life figure for many years in the local beer industry since. Tom has a dream to see more great pubs and bars of Australia serving super fresh IPA just bursting with fruity, North-West American hops.
You’ll see Tom in the brew house sniffing huge bags of hops, ranting about keeping our beer cold, banging on the doors of pubs, ranting and raving about IPA’s in bars, sipping the latest samples from the US, and filling the web up with his ramblings about his favourite hop varieties.
He's obsessed with great IPA. Some would call it a Fixation.
