We’re closed this Saturday night for a private event, so on FRIDAY NIGHT, we’re cranking the bass, pushing the tables back, and turning The Bar into one big dancefloor for a night of house, EDM, RnB and absolute party bangers.

DJs will be spinning all night long, so bring your mates, wear something you can dance in, and prepare to lose your voice yelling “I LOVE THIS SONG” at least seven times.

This is for the people who don’t want to just “go for one”, the dancefloor gremlins, the bassline believers, the group chat instigators, and anyone who’s been waiting for a proper night out.

Mates Day @ The Bar is a statewide initiative this Friday, the 8th of May, encouraging Victorians to head to their local and reconnect with a mate – or meet someone new. To mark the occasion, we're doing HALF PRICE SCHOONERS ALL FRIDAY NIGHT! That's right, just $5 for a schooner of Coopers Pale Ale, Carlton Dry or Great Northern Super Crisp from the second we open the doors till we call last drinks. It's the perfect way to catch up with the lads, watch the footy on the big screens, and chill out in front of the open fire.
