Colac, since we opened our doors in March 2019, it’s been a crazy ride full of fun singalongs, new friendships, wild nights, and of course, wonderful memories.

The journey has not been easy, and COVID really took its toll on Piano Bar Colac. Post-pandemic, we have really struggled to get back on our feet. Throw in the current economic climate, and we just can’t manage to make ends meet as a business.

Regrettably, today I must announce that Piano Bar Colac will be closing its doors on Saturday, 27 May.

We are truly humbled by the support and encouragement Piano Bar has received from the Colac community through these unprecedented times. Moreover, our small (but mighty) team led by Jaalla has displayed such loyalty and tenacity in the face of countless challenges thrown our way.

Ultimately, we are a business, and the tough decisions can no longer be avoided.

I am sincerely hoping that you can join us over the remaining Saturday nights to say g’day, share a few drinks and have a sing and a dance with us. And of course, we would always love to see you at Piano Bar Geelong any time in the future.

It’s been a crazy, fun ride. Thanks for all the wonderful memories! See you over the coming weeks xox

Hey, everyone! Can't wait to see you this Saturday night at Piano Bar Colac with Oscar Rose and Rachael Grace taking your song requests all night. Jaalla and the team will be ready to serve you, with free entry from 7pm.

On a less "bright" note, we have decided to close indefinitely on Friday nights at Piano Bar Colac. Like many businesses in the region, we have found it really difficult rebounding from COVID, and we just haven't been able to find our "Friday Groove" recently.

It's a tough decision, particularly because it affects our amazing, hardworking team the most. Even Saturday nights have been really inconsistent, and with only a couple of late night venues currently operating in Colac, most weekend feel eerily quiet.

We have appreciated everyone's support since we opening in March 2019. It has been a rollercoaster, with lockdowns and uncertainty overshadowing much of the time we have been open.

However, like many other small businesses in Colac, Piano Bar NEEDS YOUR SUPPORT. now more than ever. Every weekend, it's a nervous wait for our talented performers and dedicated team as we open our doors for business, wondering who, if anyone, will walk through the front door.

Without your patronage and your valued business, Piano Bar simply cannot survive. So, I urge you all, particularly if we haven't seen you in a while, please come in and say "g'day", have a beer (or a Bundy with me), and support live music and local jobs.
