Thanks to all of you for coming to eat and drink on Sunday and enjoy the beautiful country atmosphere. We were pretty much at capacity all day and night.

And thanks to our Charlie team for smashing it out of the park.

Time for them to rest and recover today - closed Monday as normal.

Thanks to the many of you who passed on your compliments on your meals and the service. We strive everyday to meet your expectations. The busier it is the harder that can be.

We have an amazing team of front of house and back of house staff who are so dedicated to getting things right for you.

Can we help you feed your chickens? 🐥And you help us with sustainable recycling. ♻️

The local family who have been taking our food scraps everyday to feed their chickens have moved away from Charleston.

Each day, ready for collection in the morning, we have a few sealed plastic containers of scraps that we can put out by our back shed.

If you would like this for your chooks you are welcome to come and collect it. It is first in best dressed.

Let us know you are keen by your comment below or sent us a DM, so we know we can start putting it out again.

It was great to see so many of our locals and not-so-locals through the doors this weekend, catching up with friends, enjoying a meal and making the most of everything that makes our little country pub so special.

As a pub without pokies, every dollar spent here comes from people choosing to enjoy good food, great company and local hospitality. We're proud that our business is built on bringing people together and contributing to our community.

Our little pub helps keep our local economy strong by employing local people, supporting local suppliers, sponsoring local clubs and community groups, and providing a welcoming place for everyone to come together.
