The Royal Hotel was originally built in 1887 and by 1912 a new two storey building was built and more renovations in the 1920s. The building was demolished in 1967 with the old Royal Hotel & Motel being built then. The Royal went under a full refurb starting in June 2024 and been completed in March 2025 opening early in April 2025. The Royal Casino has all the facilities including: full bar with 2

0 TV screens all playing different sports with a lounge area, restaurant, and the biggest beer garden in Casino with the largest TV screen on the Northern Rivers. The motel has also been fully refurbed and has 10 motel rooms with under covered parking.
