The Curtin is looking for an experienced bartender / supervisor to join our team.

We’re after a hospo gun who is passionate about live music and community, to come join our independent family run pub.

ABOUT YOU:
• Team player who thrives in busy service - with experience in high-volume hospitality venues
• Strong communicator, with good judgement who stays calm and confident under pressure. 
• Love live music, hospitality and keen to create great experiences for our community.

Supervisor/management experience highly preferred but not essential for the right candidate.

📍 The John Curtin Hotel, Carlton
⏰ Part-time (20–30 hours per week)

Frontier Touring presents the debut headline tour from fast-rising, raw and gritty Byron Bay rockers HEADSEND this April.

Having already stepped onto arena and stadium stages alongside heavyweights Tool and AC/DC, HEADSEND have sharpened their reputation through relentless touring, which also included supporting UK outfit Wunderhorse on their sold-out Australian run.

The trio now bring that same intensity back into intimate band rooms – part of a wider tour run that includes slots at The Great Escape in the UK, with additional UK/EU tour dates to follow.

From the absolute pillars which hold the place up Dainty and Sam right through to Paris who keeps our amazing shows ticking and the Queens behind the bar and in the kitchen. COULD not and WOULD not do it without you.

PSA: We are very sorry to say that we will be CLOSED AGAIN TODAY (Wednesday) due to these never ending, but essential roof renovation works.

We are REALLY sorry for the inconsistency, lack of refrigeration, no air con (if you know, you know). No one is enjoying this less than we are.
