See you at the Green! Nestled in the heart of Carlton on the corner of Lygon and Elgin Streets, is an enchanting pub from hospitality veterans and well-known artists Alison Whyte and Fred Whitlock. There’s not a parma or steak in sight as the Green Man’s Arms is Melbourne's first completely vegetarian pub (with plenty of plant based options too). Open 4pm-late Thursday-Sunday, Green Man’s Arms has become the local for vegans, vegetarians and omnivores alike. The down-to-earth venue and its quietly impressive ethos is a welcoming space for all to enjoy the affordable menu of fresh seasonal pub grub among friends.

Remember when we asked what YOU would like to see on our permanent menu? Well the results are in and we have the final picks!

Our Lions Mane ‘Flank Steak’ was the overall winner 🎉 the star of the Plants – Set on Fire show, the main dish and the (unsurprising) top pick for our guests!

But…our Basque Cheesecake w/ Lemon Curd was such a close second (with only 2 points separating them!!) we HAD to add it on there too! 😉

And to those who missed out on our MFWF Plants – Set on Fire event, come down and taste the two best dishes from the menu! 💚
