It started with a jam, a few guest appearances and one question that kept coming up:
“When are you going to headline your own show?”
For Orange local Cassie Lloyd, music had taken a back seat to family life after years singing with a jazz quartet at weddings and events.
But after moving to Orange in 2020, new musical friendships, including Robbie Hart and Robbie Mortimer, slowly pulled her back to the stage.
And when the time finally came to turn that bucket-list idea into a real show, there was one artist that immediately felt right: Missy Higgins.
Cassie and Robbie began pulling together some brilliant local musicians who shared their love of Missy’s music — and A Tribute to The Sound of White – Missy Higgins was born.
