The Wig and Pen Tavern and Brewery is a Canberra institution for those who appreciate the value of a truly good beer or cider. Opened by Lachlan McOmish in 1994 and still going strong- the pub moves from strength to strength with its delicious beer and warm, friendly atmosphere. The bar features local wines, an excellent selection of spirits as well as 16 taps of delicious beer brewed on premise b

y Head Brewer Alan Ball. As an added bonus, 4 of our beers are traditional real ales which means they are cask conditioned and hand-pumped (a rare find in Australia!) The kitchen also serves up some excellent English pub food including burgers, bangers and mash and cheese platters. FREE PARKING all weekend and after 5pm weekdays. Limited menu Sundays
