Capital Brewing Co.

While we were in Canberra the other day we dropped in and tried.

Hang loose juice hazy IPA.
Trop pop sour ale.
Mango sour.
Dos capital Mexican lager.

Venue looks to be an old manufacturing site that has been converted into well setout taproom with plenty of seating both inside and out in the beer garden.

They have a Brodburger food inside off to one side that serve burgers, hotdogs and chips.

They are located just 15 mins out of Canberra in fyshwich off monaro hwy.

The wife indulged in a pint of Blackberry hard lemonade and was disappointed that they didn't have any available for take away 😭.

If in ACT again will definitely return.

Red Bluff Brewers

Today while in Lakes entrance we dropped in and tried.

Strewberry Gose.
Tropical Ale.
Superdelic hazy IPA.
Mango hazy pale.

They have an onsite food van servicing the usual burgers, fish & chips and pizzas..... We got Pizzas and younger boys got nugs n chips obviously haha

Venue looks to be an old landscaping centre with a divided shed that has viewing windows of the brew stills.

Would recommend stopping in for a few beers if in the area on Fri-Sun.

Burra Brewing Co.

Today while the wife was sleeping between nightshifts we dropped in and tried.

Pale ale.
Golden ale.
Mosaic.
Burra Sippa.

As I'm partial to pizza the lads and I got a cheesy garlic pizza 🤌👌👌 (didnt get a chance to get a pic before they smashed it) even though the middle one wanted some chips.

Venue is well placed on the main strip with a well set out beer garden frontage.

If travelling through the Gippsland region it is definitely worth a stop for a beer /ginger beer or 2 and if not sure what to get why not a paddle haha.

Escape Brewing

Today while exploring Mornington peninsula we thought we would drop in and try a paddle.

I tried the top 4 paddle consisting of:

The Shore' pale ale.
The fort' Lager.
The Bavarian' Munich style lager.
The Surf' Tropical pale ale.

They have food on offer including 10in pizzas, fish n chips and burgers plus snacks and also include a kids menu.

Venue is a modern warehouse with lots to do with indoor lawn bowls, pool table, corn hole
and a bball ring also they have jenga, connect 4 and dominoes for those less physically inclined haha.
They are located in the industrial area but still not far from the esplanade of rosebud.

They also have a cider (no description just "cider") on tap that made the wife happy.

Would definitely recommend supporting if in the area.

Bells Beach Brewing

After being in Torquay the last few day we thought we would go and try a paddle.

Bells Session Ale.
Rincon Raspberry sour.
Addis Pale Ale.
Raglan Haze

They have a food van on site Gypsy Burger but being after dinner we didn't partake but look good.

Venue being on the surf coast is a surfing theme with a stage for live music with Hazel Ray playing tonight and well prepared with take away ready to go.

They are ideally located just off the highway in the industrial area of town.

The wife was happy with a pot (285ml) of Seacider.

Great venue and would return if come through town again.

Little Rippa Brewing Co

Today on the way out of Mt Gambier we dropped in and tried.

Fat Snooza XPA.
South East Pale Ale
Fully Lit Grapefruit IPA
Cloud Nine NEIPA

For something different we thought we would get a pizza from the woodoven kitchen and the lads got some chips.

Venue is modern and well set out with restaurant setting that overlooks the outdoor lawned area and further out farming.
They are ideally located just 5 mins out of town and is kid friendly with plenty of seating and lawned space outside with swing and slide.

They also have cider and seltzer on tap so the wife was happy with a pint (425ml) of Flamin Galah cider

Would definitely recommend supporting this venue but as a heads up for folk with caravans it doesn't have caravan parking.

Yesterday afternoon we swung by Robe Town Brewery

I tried.

No 1. Robe Town pale ale
No 2. Bonnie owl session pale ale
No 4. The bicycle mid strength unfiltered kolsch
No 25. Magic mulberry fruit sour

Wednesday nights (last night) they have a pool comp that provides a bit of entertainment.

Venue is in the industrial area of Robe and has a very eclectic decor but inviting.

They have a semi permanent food van Loose Menu set up that looked appetising from the pasta dishes that came out.

Over all it was a very friendly and inviting venue but I found all but the sour very watery but hey everyone has different tastes.

Beachport Brewing Co

Today I tried.

No 3. Skippers middy
No 4. Swell session ale
No 5. Cray pot pale ale
No 8. Golden hour quince sour

And topped it off with some hot chips from Fat Mullet .

Venue is an an old fish factory decorated with fishing paraphernalia that is ideally located across the road from Beachports famous 772m jetty and is kid friendly with plenty of space outside and a playground 2 doors down.

They have just launched Beachport Spirit Co much to the wife's excitement.

Over all a great experience and would definitely recommend supporting this venue.
