Silky oysters dressed in green nam jim and finger lime. Sticky quail, lacquered and just a little wild. Bao that drip, crunch, give. Tropical crayfish swimming in Singapore chilli. Duck khao soi with a soft hit of coconut and a flash of heat.

The Year of the Fire Horse has arrived.

On Saturday 21 February 2026, Paper Crane hosts a one-night-only Lunar New Year celebration, a multi-course set menu with a welcome cocktail, plus live lion dance and Chinese drumming as the night unfolds.

$95 per person.

The drums roll in. The lion follows. And just like that, Lunar New Year is almost here.

On Saturday 21 February, Paper Crane welcomes the Year of the Horse with a one-night celebration of modern Chinese flavours, live performance and a little theatre woven through the evening. Chinese drumming at 7 pm. Lion dance at 6:30 pm. A curated set menu designed to carry you from first sip to final sweet note.

This isn’t dinner. It’s ceremony.

Lunar New Year, served with ceremony.

On Saturday 21 February, Paper Crane welcomes the Year of the Horse with a one-night-only dining experience where flavour, fire and theatre take centre stage.

Begin with the Jade Steed; kaffir lime gin, sencha green tea and ginger beer, before a multi-course feast unfolds. Think tropical pickles and salmon yee sang to start, followed by beef shin, spring rolls, reef fish with ginger and spring onion, braised duck, char siu pork, seasonal wok vegetables and jasmine rice. Finished, of course, with Chinese rice cake in brown sugar syrup.

And then there’s the upgrade.
Whole lobster, added to the experience, rich, celebratory, and absolutely the move for Lunar New Year.

Live lion dance. Thunderous Chinese drumming. A dining room alive with energy from the moment you arrive.

$95 per person: set menu + welcome cocktail
$184 per person: set menu + lobster upgrade + welcome cocktail
Kids and teen prices available

One night only.

Paper Crane welcomes the Year of the Horse with a one-night-only celebration at Crystalbrook Riley. Bold modern Chinese flavours take centre stage, paired with a curated multi-course menu, a celebratory welcome drink, and live performances that build atmosphere as the night unfolds, from lion dance to traditional drumming.
