We look forward to welcoming you to Jack and Shanan's. Jack & Shanan's owners, Paul and Nicole, used to drive far and wide around Far North Queensland seeking ice cream treats with their two boys, Jack (5) and Shanan (6). Realizing how hard it was to beat Nicole's homemade gelato, they decided to take a chance at something they had never done before and open up a shop in Palm Cove. In July of 2014

, Scoops Gelatiland was born, where two cabinets full of 36 artisan gelato flavours is all made on site. Within just a few months of opening, Scoops rocketed to the #1 position on Trip Advisor for restaurants in Palm Cove with rave reviews. Now, within less than a year, they've opened their second store at the southern end of Williams Esplanade, "Jack & Shanan's" (fittingly named after the superstars of the business). While artisan gelato will remain the core product, this new outlet will also include crepes, coffee and cocktails, as well as "Jooce Bar", a dedicated menu of cold-pressed juice, smoothies and raw vegan treats with a tropical FNQ twist.
