Where have we been?? 🫣
Have you wondered why I haven't been spamming your feed for the past 3 months? Are we closed? Retired? No! We're still here and while our team have been busy with events since Feb, Shane and I have been equally as busy acquiring a block of land in gorgeous Tarzali. Moving and organising our 4-legged lawnmowers while still maintaining events and full time jobs. Crazy days, but this view is so worth it.

Lovely small family wedding of Nell & Kalam .boat.house.venue in Port Douglas back in November. The Butterfly Effect cocktail was the bomb! But sadly you can only imagine as I didn't get any proof 🤦‍♀️ Our homemade raspberry vodka with blue curacao, cranberry, lime and topped with lemonade (and rosebud garnish). Here's a piccie of their cake instead because I did manage to snap that.

Aloha from Waikiki! 🌺 After 6 amazing years with our crew, our beloved "baby" Evie has flown off to Hawaii for a 2-year adventure with her partner John! 🌊🌴 We’re going to miss you so much 🥺, but know that the bar will always have a spot for you if/when you come back! 🍹 Safe travels and enjoy paradise.

Wow, just wow! Was totally gobsmacked at this event - Smurf's Backyard Ultra in November. The runners tackle 6.7kms of the Smithfield Mountain Bike Trail with a lap on the hour, every hour, until they can do no more. 🏃🏃‍♀ Adam Fox was the overall winner, completing 26 laps. Legend! That's about 174 kms in 26 hours. My dodgy knee hurt just watching them.

Our end-of-year shenanigans! A treat for our team to let their hair down after 2 epic years of maximum effort both behind the bar and behind the scenes. 🤩 First up an Escape Room experience - we didn't get out in time, a bit like our event packdowns 🤔. Next was cocktails made FOR us, not BY us, at the Salt House and then on to the Casino for dinner and plenty more cocktails. No drink driving here, our mini-van (AKA Nat's Hummer) had a Grinch to drive us around (you're a legend Kevin! )🎉

We're all friends in the mobile bar industry and good sharers too! The clients dry-hired the gorgeous Black Betty for their wedding at Lavender Hill, but booked our staff to run it. Added bonus was Karlee & Luana, who work for The Bedford Bar mostly (and do rockstar shifts with us on occasions) were free that night, so she was in very capable hands.

Rhian wanted no fuss for her beach wedding, just requested trestles with tablecloths that matched her table setting ✔ (thanks KMart!). The hire-me-fridge from kept the very important 4X & Prosecco icy cold.

Even though it rained and held proceedings up for a bit (and brought out the midgies), the wedding of Sara & Mason in Tully Heads was such a delight to work. Their kids were absolutely facinated with the champagne tower.

*note to self: Make sure insect repellant is in the car, not at the cabin!
