Big news from out of Western Australia, Bundoora! Our very own Tristania Doolan has just returned from Osborne Park Bowls Club in WA today with a silver medal around her neck after the Victorian Women’s side finished runners-up at the Bowls Australia National Sides tournament yesterday 🏆

Tris's rink had quite a strong performance over the three days, finishing as the 4th best perfomed rink overall with an outstanding 5 wins, 1 loss and 1 draw. The one rink loss came by just one shot. 👏👏👏

If we look back over the last four years we should really appreciate what this Victorian Women’s side has achieved:
🥇 2023 – Gold
🥉 2024 – Bronze
🥈 2025 – Silver
🥈 2026 – Silver

To Tris and the entire Victorian Women’s team a big congratulations on another magnificent campaign. You’ve done our Club and the Vic's proud yet again!

Well bowled, Tris....and go Bundy! 💙🤍

On Sunday, the Yarra Bowls Region Triples event kicked off at Rosanna BC which turned out to be a very very successful day for many of Bundoora's Women's and Men's bowlers. In the Womens draw, Tris Doolan and Jody Nevill, along with Courtney Thompson of MCC have progessed to the semi finals this coming Sunday 4th October. On the Men's side, Bundy have representation in all four of the semi final team lineups which is a great result for the club. The first semi final will pit Adrian Marchioli, Liam Turner and Luke Aiello against Ash O'Brien (MCC), Mark Pozzer and Damon DiFlorio. In the other semi Bruce Lyons, Doug Woods and Damien Bernasconi (MCC) will take on Nick Turnbull, Louie Cenagdzija and Brad Schwarzer. Lets try to get as as many Bundy supporters out to Rosanna BC from 10am this Sunday 4th of October to get behind our Women's and Men's teams as they vie for the gold medal which will qualify them for State Champions week in Bendigo.

Bundoora BC hosted another successful year of the Women's Classic Fours tournament yesterday with participation from a wide range of clubs across Vic. The standard of Bowls was exceptional and the camaraderie and competitive spirit on the green across the competing teams was there for all to see! A big thank-you to all the volunteers from around the club who pitched in and helped make this a memorable day and particularly to Jody Nevill whose ongoing coordination and oversight of this tournament makes it a great occaision each and every year.
