Such great feedback from Andrew and Lin Wong! We know we have big shoes to fill as we have all grown up visiting, eating and playing the coin game at Busy Bee Fish Bar - Bundaberg and we were so excited to be able to be apart of this Bundy iconic business!
Hello everyone,
Today my mum Lin and I went into the Busy Bee Fish Bar in Bundaberg CBD 19 Gray Ave and ordered some battered chips ($10 worth); 3 pieces of crumbed fish (cod, barramundi and red emperor); some chicken wings and some prawn cutlets.
We bought some food from the Busy Bee Fish Bar for 2 reasons: #1 Busy Bee Fish Bar is under new ownership and management. Lin and I wanted to try the food now that Busy Bee Fish Bar has changed hands for the 4th time.
#2: On the 27th of February (today is the 28th) about 3 years and one day ago my dad Kent Wong passed away. I can't believe 3 years has passed. It was a little hard during the last 3 years to walk into the Busy Bee Fish Bar with all those memories.
Anyway we took the food to my best friend's home and me, Lin Wong, my best friend and his wife had some Busy Bee Fish Bar battered chips and crumbed fish. It was absolutely delicious. Mum was happy and my friends agreed the fish and chips were beautiful.
Please support the Busy Bee Fish Bar. It's a Bundaberg icon, a local Bundaberg business supporting local Bundaberg residents. Please feel free to post your comments. The original owner Douglas Lung ran Busy Bee Fish Bar for 20 years. The Wong family for 53years and Sandy & Hing Li for 3 years. Let's support Peter and his workers as they carry on the Busy Bee Fish Bar tradition.
