Had a big weekend, napping today.

Amazing weekend of gigs at Creature. A Friday night full of artists new to us - , and .crop.tops - and a Saturday night of artists that have gestated out of our community - , .mp3 and .atlantic_

Strong endorsement of each and every artist - follow them all and catch them wherever you can.

We going to listen to our bodies and take today off. Come back during the week for drinks and Smash Bros, or next weekend for more great gigs from , Friday and Saturday.

We had an unexpected visitor this morning. The safe fairy came by and took the money we'd left under our pillows and replaced it with... a jackhammer? The rules of the fae are very confusing.

What this means for you:
we'll only be accepting card payment for a little bit (no cash).
our front door looks a little less pretty.
we can give you a really good price on a slightly used jackhammer.

We're closing today and instead heading across to the on Sydney Rd to celebrate the first birthday of .community

We're massive fans of Jay's work with liberate and the way they're bringing together community to share and learn and create. Their talent to convert love and passion for the community into action and change is truly inspiring.

We're excited to check out the whole line-up, but especially keen on finally getting to see both and .online who we've been trying to catch live for a little bit now and also .cadet who played an absolutely blistering set last weekend at Creature (supporting Moths).

We're open this weekend, and then back on Wednesday to celebrate the year ending.

We'll be doing our typical low-key NYE - just spinning vinyl, slinging drinks and talking s**t over the bar until we stagger off to bed.

Come hang out. Or don't. It's OK not to be everywhere and do everything. Having a nap is a totally legit way to spend your new years. If anybody asks, we'll tell them you were partying.
