Syarra is one of our quiet achievers – always hardworking, friendly, and happy to help wherever needed. Many of our members know her from The Cove, where she enjoys making great coffees, and we've also heard she's pretty handy behind the bar making cocktails! ☕🍸

7 years at the helm of Geebung RSL and what a journey it’s been. There have been so many positive changes since Greg stepped into the role, helping shape the club into what it is today.

Recently, our wonderful Chef Preet received the exciting news that she has been granted Permanent Residency in Australia!

Preet has been a valued member of the Geebung RSL family for nearly 7 years, creating delicious meals and always bringing a smile to those around her. We couldn't be happier for her as she celebrates this incredible achievement.

As if that wasn't exciting enough, Preet is also expecting her second child in July! 👶💕

To celebrate, the team surprised her with a gift basket packed with some iconic Aussie favourites, including Vegemite, Tim Tams and Shapes biscuits.

Congratulations, Preet! We are so proud of everything you have achieved and wish you and your growing family all the very best for this exciting next chapter. ❤️

✂️🎸 Holly is Rockin' the Chop! 🎸✂️

This July, our Marketing Manager Holly is saying goodbye to her ponytail and taking part in the Ponytail Project to raise funds for Cancer Council Queensland.

Not only will she be cutting off her hair, but her ponytail will be donated to help create wigs for people undergoing cancer treatment. ❤️

Every dollar raised will help fund vital cancer research, prevention programs, and support services for Australians impacted by cancer.

At Geebung RSL, we acknowledge and pay our respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples — the Traditional Custodians of this land — and honour Elders past, present and emerging.

Reconciliation is about listening, learning, respect and walking forward together.

This National Reconciliation Week, we encourage everyone to take a moment to reflect on the importance of connection, understanding and unity.
