Meet the turbidity MacGyvers of UQ!

Engineers at UQ designed a low-cost, guerrilla turbidity IoT system, using dishwasher sensors!

Monitoring fluvial turbidity is vital, but sensors are expensive. Initial costs usually prevent IoT adoption, for most short-term monitoring projects.

If dishwasher sensors are less accurate, their affordability allows for many more data sources, providing richer data, as well as a more resilient, affordable system.

The University of Queensland

Turbidity monitoring is essential, but sensors are still expensive. UQ civil engineers designed a low-cost IoT system using dishwasher turbidity sensors.

"IoT Everywhere" (also known as "IoT Everyware") is here!

And about to protect enormous amount of water resources. Even say, in the country without any connectivity, even say... in the middle of the Pacific Ocean.

Read it all here in this article from The Lead: https://lnkd.in/fHK3nZm

Our CEO Ben Starr is currently at the World IoT Conference in California with our partners Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Myriota the nano-satellites makers, bringing the EIoT good news!
