Our very own Vanessa Hinton has been got the amazing opportunity to represent Australia at the World Blinfld Bowls Championships in New Zealand.

She has set up a go fund me account to help raise fund for the trip, if anyone is able to donate to help her reach her goal that would be amazing.

We are beyond proud of Vanessa and how far she has come.

We would like to say thankyou again to the lovely group we had from Probus Club of North Brisbane join us for there wine & cheese tasting event.

Everyone had a great time tasting the selection of wines from Yarra valley estate presented by the lovely Damien Masters representing De Bortoli Wines

A huge congratulations to Jordan Fenn, who has taken out the 2026 Ladies Novice Singles Championship, defeating Ruth Edwards in a hotly contested and highly entertaining final! 👏🔥

Both ladies displayed an outstanding level of bowls throughout the match, producing a fantastic final that was a credit to them both.

The talent, determination and standard of play shown by Jordan and Ruth is incredibly promising for the future of ladies' bowls at Northern Suburbs Bowls Club. 💜🔥

Congratulations again to Jordan on becoming our 2026 Ladies Novice Singles Champion, and well done to Ruth on a fantastic championship campaign and a tremendous performance in the final! 👏🏆
