Wedding b**rs are a thing. And yes, we do them.

Sophie & Dan recently had their very own custom b**rs made for their wedding day — personalised cans, their names, their date and a very good excuse to have a b**r.

We hope the happy couple had an absolute cracker of a day and that the guests got a nice surprise when these little beauties turned up.

🚨 WEEKEND HOURS UPDATE 🚨

A little heads up if you’re planning a visit to WL2 this weekend — we’ve got a couple of changes to our usual setup.

SATURDAY
The whole venue will be closed until 5pm for a private function.

From 5pm, we’re open to the public as usual — b**rs, food and good times.

SUNDAY
We’re celebrating with the St Cats Soccer Club Awards Day, so from 3:30pm the main bar area will be closed.

The good news? You can still come in!

HAPPY FATHER’S DAY!

To all the dads, stepdads, grandads, father figures, bonus dads, and anyone who fills that role — however it looks for you — Happy Father’s Day!

We hope you get spoiled, fed, watered and, preferably, handed a b**r.

And remember…

Don’t be like Alex.
Get Dad the b**r.

Still deciding what to do today? It’s not too late! Come in for lunch, settle in for a couple of b**rs, or grab some takeaway from the fridge for Dad to enjoy later.

We have a simple rule at White Lies:

You can drink b**r here **OR** take it home.

You *can* do both, obviously. We’re not unreasonable.

The takeaway fridge is stocked with White Lies b**rs, plus plenty of great stuff from our brewery mates.

So grab a few for the fridge, a few for tonight… and maybe a couple you’ll *definitely* save for later.

Or you could bring him to White Lies, put a cold b**r in front of him and let him believe you’ve finally made some good life choices.

We love a public holiday as much as the next person… but Ekka Wednesday comes with some *very* enthusiastic hospitality penalty rates. 😅

We could open and whack a surcharge on everything to cover it, but honestly… **we’d rather not make you pay extra for your b**r.**

So, we’re doing the sensible thing and **closing for the day.**

Our staff get a well-earned day off, you don’t get slugged with a surcharge, and everyone wins. 🍻

We’ll be back pouring the good stuff as usual the next day.
