Congratulations to our Art Union winner, Beryl!

Today was the day Beryl finally collected her brand-new car, and what a special moment it was. From the moment she first heard she’d won, it almost didn’t feel real. But seeing the car in person today, surrounded by her friends, made it all sink in.

Beryl absolutely loved the luxurious interior and couldn’t stop smiling as she explored every detail of her new ride. What started as an unbelievable surprise has now become a wonderful reality.

Celebrating the next generation at The Lion ✨

This week, we had the pleasure of recognising our 2026 School-Based Trainees as they officially completed their Certificate III in Business.

Through our SBT Program, these students have balanced school, study and hands-on industry experience across the venue, gaining valuable insight into the day-to-day operations that keep The Lion moving.

Delivered alongside Club Training Australia, the program is designed to build confidence, capability and real-world experience. This group should be incredibly proud of everything they’ve achieved!

Our beautiful Smart Pup, Bella, proudly sponsored through the QCM Group, visited The Lion for the very last time before her graduation next Tuesday.

From her early training days to now, it’s been incredible to watch her grow into such a calm, confident and caring companion. Soon, Bella will begin her next chapter, being placed with a family where she’ll make a truly life-changing difference.
