🇺🇸 SAFETY CLOSURE ANNOUNCEMENT🇺🇸
To Our Valued Customers and Guests,
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the closing of The American Bourbon Bar after 8 1/2 years. We have served our last bourbon, shared our final meal, and greeted our last guest within these walls. This decision was not made lightly, nor without deep reflection on the journey we have all shared.
Unfortunately, this change is not one of growth or reinvention—it is a decision driven by the escalating safety concerns inside of the hotel that have become too great to ignore. The ongoing threats of violence, intrusions after hours, thefts and incidents putting our team and guests at risk have made it impossible for us to continue. These circumstances are simply unacceptable.
This business has been a passion, a labor of love, and a gathering place for the moments we cherish. From birthdays and anniversaries to quiet conversations over a good drink, we have been honored to be a part of your lives. But as with any story, there are times when a chapter must end, and this is one of those times.
Let us be clear: this decision is not born from changing economic conditions, but from a fundamental need to protect those who work tirelessly alongside us, and those who trust us with their safety. It is our responsibility to ensure the well-being of our team, our guests, and to comply with the necessary WHS laws.
To each of you who helped make The American Bourbon Bar what it was: our loyal patrons, our dedicated team, and the countless friends we have made along the way—we offer our deepest thanks. You have been the heart of this place, and your support, laughter, and friendship will always be cherished.
