Ashgrove’s beloved Wine Larder has reopened with new blood at the helm - Sommelier Mark Whitaker. With a hand-picked & constantly rotating list of 70+ wines, over 20 by the glass, local craft beer on tap, and a Euro-inspired bistro menu, the Wine Larder is everything you need in a neighbourhood haunt. ocal favourite since it first opened in 2017. As locals living just five minutes down the road, new owners Mark Whitaker and wife Leah Shelton are thrilled to be continuing the bistro’s tradition in offering a welcoming space for excellent wine, food and service. The wine list will have something for everyone, from boundary-pushing new-wave wines to traditional old-world drops from both Australian and international producers. We believe in providing our guests with a wine experience that shows the diversity that wine can offer from both a varietal & regional point of view. The Wine larder also plays host to Mark's series of wine education events 'Grape Sense', as well as hosting special one-off wine dinners in collaboration with the hottest chefs in Brisbane.
