Welcome to 2023, A year of change on every level.
I didn’t think in my wildest dreams I would be making a post of this nature to kick off 2023.
It's with a heavy heart I make the following announcement
After almost 18 years of serving Mexican food to the 4171 community La Quinta will close its doors at 189 Oxford Street for the last time at 4pm on Sunday the 22nd Jan 2023 💔
This decision is due to the uncertainty surrounding the proposed demolition of our building & losing some very key long term staff.
As a 4171 local for almost the last 18yrs, I can remember the very humble beginnings of La Quinta & how much Oxford street has changed over this period.
I owe a huge amount to all the staff past & present who have made La Quinta what it has been. Many of those past staff still call in & say hi & grab a margarita from time to time such is the longevity of our friendships.
Our current core staff have been with me for up to 7 years across multiple venues & their decisions to move on has been hard to take personally yet understandable.😢
Saying goodbye to the loyal regulars over the next few weeks will be hard for all our staff. We have seen & had it all from 1st dates, break ups, engagements, even a couple of weddings and much much more.
So, in closing don’t waste time to come & enjoy one last serve of Nacho, Fajita or Tacos along with our signature Sangria or our amazing Margaritas
