Multiple positions are available across our group, including part-time/full-time front of house here at Volstead, and a part-time role for a social media manager/content creator.

Volstead has always run with a small, professional and dedicated team, and we put a serious focus on training and development, as well as genuine and caring hospitality. The right fit for our team will ideally have experience with service, have an authentic passion for taking care of our guests, and be keen on growing and developing skills in all areas of hospitality.

For a social media manager, we’re looking for someone who can plan, shoot and edit content across all three of our venues, and help us utilise the individual brand voices to tell our story.

The Kiji Martini.

Yes, it tastes like sushi... that’s the point!

We named it after the kiji, the green pheasant that’s Japan’s national bird, and built it from the same flavours as a good sushi dinner. Nori vodka brings that salty, oceanic edge. Sake keeps it clean and dry, mirin adds a little sweetness, and a touch of soy sauce gives it a deep umami finish.

It’s savoury and silky, and surprisingly hard to put down. If you’re a Dirty Martini drinker, this is your next obsession. If you’re not, it might be the one that changes your mind.

Come down and try one for yourself. Chopsticks not required.

Our guided wh**ky tastings run every Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday night. Sit down with one of our specialists and work your way through a flight picked just for you. Bring your peat obsession, your sherry-cask loyalty or your “I don’t really like wh**ky” friend. We build every tasting around what you actually like to drink.

Guided Wh**ky Tasting: $75 per person

Water of Life Rare Wh**ky Experience: $550 per person. Six historic, ultra-rare drams with artisan charcuterie. It’s the one you’ll still be talking about next year.

The Warbler 🪶

A Manhattan that’s spent a bit of time in the orchard. Rye brings the spice and backbone, as it should. Fig adds a deep, jammy richness, and walnut rounds it out with something warm and nutty.

Rich, fruity, and as smooth as a Manhattan should be.

Sunday birdwatching, Volstead style 🕊️

Ornithology is our new menu, and every drink on it is named after a bird. Some are bright and showy, some are dark and brooding, and a couple are the kind of thing you’d only spot if you knew where to look.

The Red Bishop is the rare sighting: gin, black garlic and mascarpone. Bold, but worth it. The Kingfisher is coffee and cognac, sweet and creamy, and it has a habit of turning one drink into three.

Bring a friend, pull up a seat and see how many you can tick off. No binoculars required.

Open tonight from 5pm. Monday can wait.
