People who don’t love rodeo will never understand it.

The dust.
The atmosphere.
The rush.
The crowd.

And somehow… after every event, you’re already looking forward to the next one. 🤠🔥

What do you love most about rodeo?

Cold mornings. Dusty boots. Long drives.
There’s a reason country people get attached to certain gear.

Not because it’s trendy.
Because when something survives enough early starts, fuel stops, rain, red dirt & hard work… it becomes part of your routine.

That’s what we try to stock at Outback Clothing Co.

Real gear for real days out here 🤠

The Camooweal Campdraft and Rodeo will be running 29–31 May 2026 and organisers are expecting a huge weekend of campdrafting, rodeo events & spectators.

They’re currently chasing additional food vans, food trucks & trailers to help keep competitors, campers & crowds fed across the weekend.

📍Camooweal is located around 190km west of Mount Isa on the Barkly Highway near the NT border.

A lot of this business happens in the quiet moments.
Packing orders. Restocking shelves. Loading the bus. Answering messages late at night.
Then all of a sudden you’re back on the road again doing it all over.
Wouldn’t trade it.

We’re looking for a couple of good people to join us at the Richmond Field Days & Races in North Queensland helping with both our Outback Clothing Co bus shop & coffee van.

We need people who:
• Are friendly & smile easily
• Give great customer service
• Aren’t afraid of hard work
• Can handle busy event days
• Are happy to camp & bring a swag

Experience making coffee or handling sales is a big advantage.

In return, we’ll provide meals, payment & a good atmosphere working alongside us during the event.

If this sounds like you — or someone you know — send us a message with a bit about yourself, where you’re from & any experience you’ve had.

Please share around Richmond legends 🤠

Cold mornings have a way of convincing you it’s going to stay cold all day.
Then by lunchtime you’re peeling layers off wondering why you dressed for Antarctica.
That’s why layering properly matters out here.
A good jacket for the early start. A comfortable shirt once the day warms up.
Simple gear that works with the conditions — not against them.

One thing we’ve noticed doing events around Australia…People almost always walk into the bus saying they’re “just having a look.” Five minutes later they’re trying on hats, comparing shirts, calling someone over & asking: “What do you reckon?” That’s our favourite part of doing this on the road. Seeing people touch the gear, try things on & find something they genuinely like wearing.

Funny thing is… people rarely talk about a shirt’s specs after wearing it for a while.
They talk about whether it was comfortable all day. Whether it got too hot. Whether it moved properly when they were working. Whether they kept reaching for it again.
That’s the part that matters most to us.
Gear that earns its spot.
