Steering differential failure on this D6T

This was an awesome job to work on in the field, finding new ways to safely lift the heavy transmission, steering diff & final drive with the CAT IT and come alongs.

The transmission doesn’t usually have to be removed to replace the steering diff but in this situation we decided it was the best option to ensure all of the destroyed diff was removed preventing future issues and downtime.

Just a couple of jobs from the last week of work. 🛠⚙️🔩

Komatsu 785 dump truck fuel pressure fault.

D10T Dozer Had a rock smash one of the hoses on the ripper lift cylinder breaking both hose clamps, we were able to repair it enough to get him back to work until parts arrive.

625k Compactor cleaner bar adjustment.

Komatsu pc850 Excavator grease line repairs.

Go west coach replace faulty alternator

Completed a full set of injectors, valve set & adjusted the jakes for this Western Star.

This is the reason I always recommend using genuine parts, they’re a bit more expensive but the quality and warranty is always better. This injector is a reco straight out of the box from a non genuine shop - the tip is still covered in carbon not ideal when your trying to get the most life & production especially being in the middle of no where.
