We’ve become aware of scammers contacting vendors with fake invoices and offers of fake stallholder spots, as well as people attempting to sell fake festival tickets.

Please be careful and don’t hand over any money or personal information unless you know you’re dealing directly with the Bicheno Food & Wine Festival team.

A few things to remember:

• We will only contact confirmed stallholders through our official channels.
• If you receive an unexpected invoice or an offer for a stall, check with us before paying.
• Festival tickets are sold through our official ticketing channel only. If someone is offering you a ticket privately, there is a risk it may not be genuine.
• Please don’t purchase tickets through Facebook comments, Marketplace or private messages from unknown sellers.

If something doesn’t look right, stop and check with us first. We’re much happier to confirm something is legitimate than have anyone lose money.

If you receive a suspicious message or invoice claiming to be from Bicheno Food & Wine Festival, please send us a screenshot so we can keep track of what’s circulating.

And to the scammers: targeting small businesses and hard working people is a low act. Find something better to do!!

Meet local winemakers, producers and the local team who bring the festival to life.
