Calling out to all Community Groups and Clubs – we welcome you to get involved at the Berry Show! 🎪

Is your local community group or club looking for a great way to raise funds?

We’re inviting community groups and clubs to help out on the gates at the Berry Show on 29 & 30 January, 2027. Volunteers will welcome visitors, check and sell tickets and help create a friendly start for the Berry Show experience.

It’s official! The 139th Berry Show will be held on:
🎡 Friday 29 & Saturday 30 January 2027

Pop it in the diary and start getting excited for another wonderful weekend of country celebrations, community spirit, competition, entertainment and good old-fashioned Show fun.

H5 Bird Flu Briefing for Agricultural Shows

AgShows NSW strongly encourages Show committees, poultry stewards and poultry exhibitors connected with a local agricultural show to attend an important online briefing presented by the NSW Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development.

The briefing will provide an update on the current H5 bird flu situation in NSW, including disease reporting, surveillance and response activities, biosecurity measures, and preparedness for showgrounds and community events.

Participants will also learn about the important role agricultural shows play in supporting awareness, early detection and the sharing of accurate information to help protect NSW’s poultry industries, wildlife and communities.

Meeting details have been emailed directly to AgShows NSW Member Societies.

Each Member Society is strongly encouraged to arrange for at least one committee representative to attend and to share the meeting details directly with relevant poultry stewards and exhibitors involved with their Show.

If you are connected with a local agricultural show and would like to attend, please contact that Show Society directly for the meeting details.

Our Rural Ambassador Program is happening again! 🌾

If you’re passionate about agriculture, rural communities and getting involved, this is your chance to be part of an incredible program that brings together young people from across our region.

With opportunities for both Rural Ambassadors (18–30 years) and Youth Rural Ambassadors (14–18 years), the program is open to young people from Albion Park, Kiama, Berry and Robertson.

Build your confidence, meet like-minded people, develop new skills and represent your local community!

Last call for Expressions of Interest for the 2027 Berry Show Young Woman Competition. We would love to hear from young women ready to embrace this wonderful opportunity.

The Young Woman Competition is about so much more than a title. It’s a chance to meet new people, build confidence, develop leadership skills and proudly represent our beautiful town and the Berry Show community.

Along the way, you’ll become more involved in the Show, connect with people from across our region and beyond, and create friendships and experiences that can stay with you long after the competition ends.
