It's been nearly three years since we opened Tageskarte and what an incredible and rewarding experience it has been. We made it through COVID, supply challenges and staff shortages - with every step along the way making us stronger and more determined to provide quality food and excellent service.
Achieving an incredible milestone like this encouraged us to consider what's next for Tageskarte, and in doing so we have made the decision to pause our café and restaurant operations. While this will mean our café and restaurant will be closed for a period, we are excited to keep offering the food you know and love at pop-up events around Bendigo and through our amazing catering services.
We have loved every moment of this journey and we want to thank you all for the part you have played in helping us achieve Bendigo's first German Bier Haus. Our customers have always been at the centre of what we do and why we do it and we want to sincerely thank every single person that has come through our door.
To our loyal staff that stuck by us through the good times and the bad, thank you for your dedication and for helping us create something special and truly unique. We simply could not have done it without you.
To our family and friends that supported us at every turn along the way - there aren't enough words to describe how thankful we are for everything you have done. There truly are some incredible and generous people out there - you know who you are!
Our final trading day in the café and restaurant will be Saturday the 20th of May. Our operating hours over the next few weeks will be a little different to usual, but there will be plenty of opportunities for everyone to come in and enjoy a last coffee, a delicious pork knuckle or even a stein or two.
This certainly is not goodbye. While Tageskarte may look a little different, we will always have an intense love of good food and offering quality and unique experiences. We look forward to what the next chapter has in store for us!
