Kitchen: https://7e3a1412052024.au.deputy.com/jobs #/2pC36Wny06d0HIJKkPgniVsgP60 We are Bellingen’s artisan, music venue, brewery and boutique bar making and serving our very own beers and ferments. We aim to be a brewing company of the highest calibre with strong environmental ethics. We offer a fine selection of Australia

n organic, bio-dynamic and preservative free wines. Our unique cocktail menu is inspired by the flavours and sights of our surrounds, highlighting fresh and aromatic ingredients. The design of this space was a collaborative process with the main consideration being the environmental impact. The build focussed on sustainability and resourcefulness by using local timbers and salvaged materials. Reclaimed timbers were used in our Mondrian inspired front facade and the bar features steel from an old shipping container. We are very proud of the crew of exceptionally skilled local tradies who realised and added to our vision, creating this welcoming and inspiring atmosphere. The beautiful pieces that decorate the space are either recycled or made by local artists. The Australian Hoop Pine ply feature lights and bathroom fittings were custom made by Baker Miller Design. We share this space with Big Fig Arts, a local artist run association who present a dynamic and inclusive program of exhibitions and creative workshops here. Together we showcase and share the diverse harvests that Bellingen has to offer.

The Bellinger River.

Rising below Point Lookout from The Great Dividing Range near Ebor, the river spans 69 kilometres before settling in the Tasman Sea at Urunga.

The name for the river is derived from the Gumbaynggir word 'Bindaray Yurruun'. Home to the endangered snapping turtle, tread lightly in it's cool waters.

Dangar Falls drop off what’s basically the edge of the Dorrigo Plateau - part of the ancient Gondwana rainforest system. This place stops you in your tracks.

Gondwana forests were once vast and continuous across the southern supercontinent (of Gondwana). As the climate dried and the continents split, most of it disappeared. What’s left (like around Dorrigo National Park) survived in cool, wet pockets. Breath taking and incredibly important area.

The falls sit on land belonging to the Gumbaynggirr people.
