The Bellerive Yacht Club is situated at 64 Cambridge Road, Bellerive, overlooking Kangaroo Bay and Kunanyi/Mt Wellington beyond. Established in 1926 to promote and encourage yachting, BYC is continually upgrading its facilities and offers a modern marina. BYC is a family friendly club and partners and children are encouraged to participate in club events and activities. The Club runs Twilight sail

ing on Wednesday evenings during the summer and weekend racing throughout the year as well regular training with accredited facilitators all year round. With two restaurants and a bar on site along with live music and events hosted regularly there is something for everyone at the BYC!

With nominations now closed, all vacant Board positions and the position of Vice Commodore have been filled unopposed. As a result, no election or member voting will be required this year.

We thank those members who have nominated and are willing to contribute their time and expertise to the governance of the Club.

Members are reminded that the Annual General Meeting will be held on Wednesday, 24 June at 7:00pm in the Anchor's Room. We encourage all members to attend as we reflect on the past year, receive reports on the Club's activities and financial performance, and look ahead to the opportunities and initiatives planned for the coming year.

A reminder that the BYC will be operating slightly different hours on Monday for the King's Birthday Public Holiday.

🏢 Office – Closed
☕ Marina Café & Bar – Closed
🍽️ Anchors Bar – Open from 5:30pm to 8:00pm
🎟️ Members Draw – 6:30pm

The Marina Café & Bar will be open as normal over the weekend, so why not make the most of the long weekend and join us for a meal, a drink and a catch-up with friends at the club.

Sounds like the perfect excuse to head down to the BYC tonight.

Join us for our Thursday Meat Tray Raffle, catch up with friends, enjoy a drink by the water and let Jake and the kitchen team take care of dinner.

Dear Members,

Please find attached the formal Notice of Annual General Meeting for the Bellerive Yacht Club Inc.

The AGM will be held on Wednesday 24 June 2026 at 7:00pm at the Clubhouse, with check-in opening from 6:30pm.

As we move through our Centenary Year, we encourage members to become involved in the future direction of the Club by attending the meeting and considering nominations for Board positions.

Please take note of the important dates relating to agenda items and Board nominations contained within the attached notice.
