A short family story from one of our first grade players taking the field this Sunday! ❤️
Sam Cooper pictured with John Cooper back when Sam was in Under 18’s and received Best & Fairest for Bega at just 16 years old.
Sam then went to Canberra to play for two years returning the third year back home to Bega!
Coming back as his grandfather John had dementia.
John Cooper won 4 comps for Bega 1985-1988!
Steven Cooper won in 1990!
I’m sure there is much more to the Coopers and Bega Roosters story! And more to come as well!
The Coopers are Bega through & through! We are very lucky to have this family within our club 🐓
