Here at the Club we've been busy printing out the names of everyone who has joined or renewed their membership this week, ready to go in the barrel for tonight's draw. One lucky member could walk away with $600, if they are at the club when their name is drawn at 7 PM.

PSA: Have a tiny lunch today and leave plenty of room for . It's been a little while since we've seen this crew and we've missed their authentic Asian eats. They're with us from 4:30, so rug up and get down here for another evening of great food and great company. See you soon!

Wednesdays the Club is open for dinner with Kitchen Kings, who join us from 5 PM. If you haven't tried their put-style food yet this is the week to do it, it's always fresh, hot, and delicious.

Every meal you order gets you two raffle tickets, one of which - if you're lucky - might be drawn out by Simone at 7:30. Our lucky ticket holder will have the chance to flip a card... will it be the joker, which this week is worth $1,300? Or will it be something else, which will land you a $25 bar tab? Forget the soccer, I know you're all dying to hear the results of Saturday night's trivia quiz. In the end a field of 8 tables battled it out for supremacy, with the winners 'The Bowled and the Beautiful' finishing on 45.5 of a possible 60 points.

Runners up were 'A Murder of Magpies' on 38.5, and in third place, Quiz Machine on 33.5 points.

Special thanks Cr Cale Black - City of Bayswater, West Ward and Cr Nat Latter - City of Bayswater, South Ward for taking part in trivia and for kicking off the raffle prize draw. Special thanks to Cale for donating a prize hamper that was very quickly snatched up in the raffle!

And of course, extra-extra special thanks to Ace for putting this whole thing together, and to Simone for running the bar on the night. The club is lucky to have you both!

Join us next month for Ace's Retro Disco, Saturday 18th July. The theme is 80s-90s so get the Spice Girls costumes ready. More info to come; watch this space.

The draw is at 7:30 which gives you ample time to come down and have a couple of drinks and stuff your face with another epic Kitchen Kings dinner. While you're here, get out on the green and have a roll, or snuggle up inside with a board game or jigsaw from the cabinet.

A big thanks to Ian and Colin for doing the rolling of the new green.
A new green requires up to 30 hours of rolling, with regular checks along the way for "speed". Speed is a reference to "how fast is the green running" and is basically measured by rolling a ball down a ramp and measuring how far it rolls. A simple conversion converts that to a time in seconds. We are aiming for our new green to be running around 16 seconds.
