Established in 2014 N-Bar Texas Longhorns is a small stud located in Central QLD aiming to breed quality, quiet cattle with unique coat colour and beautiful horn type.

Here is another recent arrival! At first glance, he's just a little white calf, but zoom in and check out his lower body.... look at all that roan coming through! ๐Ÿคฉ

We can't wait to see what he looks like, once he has outgrown his calf coat, and we reckon his colour will just keep getting better with age!

A little website update!

Following some great feedback, weโ€™ve made the N Bar website a little easier to navigate, including making our For Sale page easier to find.

And to answer a few of the questions weโ€™ve been getting:

โœ”๏ธYes, we do have animals available โ€” almost always!
โœ”๏ธYes, we have more young females to add! ๐Ÿ‘€
โœ”๏ธAnd yes, we do have Texas Longhorn semen available!

Over the coming weeks, weโ€™ll be reviewing our current semen inventory and adding a few more bulls to the collection.

Weโ€™re also working hard behind the scenes on a News & Updates page, where youโ€™ll be able to see whatโ€™s been happening at N Bar.

The website is still a work in progress, and weโ€™d love to hear from you. ๐Ÿ™

Do you remember this young man? He's a bit bigger then when you last saw him, but his Mumma is still loving on him just as much!

He is by the AI sire Sam Chex 708 and his mum, SC Salt is a daughter of the AI sire Rodeo Max. We are watching his growth carefully as a potential future herd sire.

You've seen us talk about N-Bar The Officiant and N-Bar Fairytale this week, both were Champions at the 2026 Texas Longhorns Australia National Show. Well this handsome little fella is their newly born full brother!

Mum, N-Bar Flowergirl, is a daughter of the AI sire Jet Black Chex and Dad, N-Bar Well Spoken is by the AI sire Spokesman.

N-Bar Fairytale is certainly a heifer with a big personality!
She was Calf Champion Female at the 2025 Texas Longhorn Australia National Show so we were incredibly excited to see her awarded Junior Champion Female this year at the 2026 Texas Longhorns Australia National Show!
Her full brother N-Bar The Officiant was awarded Junior Champion Bull at the same event, and this week they have had a new little brother born! ๐Ÿ˜

๐ ๐๐š๐ซ ๐„๐ฒ๐žโ€™๐ฏ๐ž ๐’๐ฉ๐จ๐ค๐ž๐ง & ๐ ๐๐š๐ซ ๐“๐ก๐ž ๐Ž๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐ข๐œ๐ข๐š๐ง๐ญ โ€” Junior & Senior Champions at the Gatton Show Rare Breeds Ring in July, and theyโ€™ve done it again, taking out Junior & Senior Champion Bull at the 2026 Texas Longhorns National Show!

Both are sired by ๐ ๐๐š๐ซ ๐–๐ž๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐’๐ฉ๐จ๐ค๐ž๐ง. Eyeโ€™ve Spoken is out of N Bar Tigers Eye, while The Officiant is out of N Bar Flowergirl.

N Bar Eyeโ€™ve Spoken has now headed south to Victoria as the new stud sire for J.P Cattle Co. It wasnโ€™t an easy decision to part with him, but we couldnโ€™t be happier to see him go to such a passionate stud, committed to breeding the very best Longhorns they can!
