Two bands, one wonderful night of community music!

We’re delighted to welcome Ballina Shire Concert Band and special guests Sapphire City Concert Band from Inverell for Sounds by the Sea this Saturday.

Healthy rivers are at the heart of healthy communities.

Last week, Ballina RSL was proud to host the Local Government NSW Water Management Conference 2026, welcoming 235 delegates for three days of discussion and collaboration on the health of our rivers and the future of water management.

The program spanned conference sessions, trade displays, catering and a formal dinner across multiple Club spaces. Our Functions, Kitchens, Cafés, Boardwalk and wider teams worked closely together to coordinate each element and ensure delegates felt welcome and well looked after.

Here in Ballina, our waterways are central to our environment, economy and way of life. It was a privilege to play a part in bringing these important conversations to our region.

Thank you to the organisers for trusting us with this event, and to our people for the care, skill and teamwork that brought it all together.

Learning from the local experts!

Last week, Sienna and Sienna headed out to Zentveld's Coffee for some hands-on coffee training.

We’re proud to collaborate with local businesses and give our team opportunities to learn directly from the people behind the products we serve.

Training like this is invaluable, helping our team build their skills and knowledge so they can serve the perfect cup of coffee to our members and guests.
