As owners, early days we spent plenty of time doing our “research” with the crew at the Longwood Hotel while figuring out the kind of pub vibe we wanted to create.

When the Longwood fires hit, local emergency services, CFA volunteers, and community legends showed up straight away — no fuss, no hesitation — just doing whatever it took to protect people, homes, and the town. We've no doubt they were out there day and night in some seriously tough conditions.

So instead of doing cash handouts, Balldale Hotel want to shout them a few well‑earned beers at The White Hart Hotel. It’s a simple way to give them a chance to switch off, catch up, and feel the love from the community.
