Irish Murphy’s is located in historical Sturt Street in the heart of Ballarat. BIG NEWS 📣
We can now confirm that, yes, we have bought our second pub - The Queen's Head Hotel (cnr of Humffray St & Queen St, Ballarat East).
We would like to thank Damian, Bianca & Gracie for creating a real community focused pub that has a genuine warm & friendly atmosphere. We have big shoes to fill with them leaving (Gracie is staying on thankfully) but we are excited about the challenge ahead to grow upon what they have built and make it even better again for the locals and tourists.
But don't fret we won't be losing focus on Irish Murphy's. It will be just as important and we have many projects still to complete at Irish.
As always Donald and I will be present around both pubs, but initially Donald will spend a little more time at The Queen's Head as we get settled in and set up our systems.
Thank you for everyone's ongoing support of Irish Murphy's and hopefully the love will be shared to the The Queen's Head as well.
We can't wait to open the doors this Wednesday but if you pop in please be patient as we find our way 🙏 and figure things out.

Irish Murphy's is closed today and Tuesday this week.
On Tuesday we will be giving some focus areas a deep clean (often tricky to do when we are open 7 days a week) and we are treating our staff to dinner & a night at the movies 📽 😁
