With infinite sadness, we write this to say our time at The Eastern has come to an end. We want to say a massive Thankyou to every single person that has been a part of this great community, its been everything. We're very sorry to say it's over, and there'll be no last dance. We've tried our best to hold on through a period we'd rather forget but we're tired and all things must end.
Damn, we're going to miss all those Bands, Beers, Burgers, Bucs and even the Shady's... so many Shady's.
We love this community and will miss not being there for you each week but can't wait to catch you all at a show somewhere soon. ❤️

After a very successful first night, lil will be hosting Love Your Scene, Make a Zine #2!

Join lil for another cosy night of zine making and pick up a copy of their newest info zine 'love your scene, make a zine', which outlines ideas, materials, and resources to create your own zine.
Follow along and create any kind of zine with whatever you like! Materials will be supplied but everyone's is very welcome to bring whatever they'd like to use too!
Magazines, pens, pencils, stickers, crayons...

Zines have long been a way for communities to connect and share, come along and get sentimental, inspired, and creative!

Zines have long been a way for communities to connect and share. Lil will be launching their newest info zine 'love your scene, make a zine', which outlines ideas, materials, and resources for zine making.
Follow along and create your own zine about whatever you like! Some materials will be supplied but everyone's encouraged to bring anything extra they'd like to use too - magazines, pens, pencils, stickers, crayons, ect.
Come along and get sentimental, inspired, and creative.

Round 10 ft: Sam Mennen

For Tonight’s session we have none other than the Eastern’s own Sound Tech Sam Mennen, who will be taking us through a range of classic Heavy Metal deep dives. 🤘

Ride the lightning into our makeshift lounge space to join Sam in a relaxed environment to listen to some not-so-relaxed tunes. Station Selections is a series of weekly events in which a host is invited to share a selection of records that hold significance to them and discuss why.
