The George Hotel is an entertainment hub, centrally located in Ballarat's CBD. Offering a one stop destination featuring eating, dining, accommodation and entertainment options for locals and visitors to enjoy. The Lane Restaurant @ The George offers contemporary dining with an impressive seasonal menu and authentic wood fired pizzas. The award winning restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Lane Cafe opening onto Lydiard Street, serves great coffee and cake, lunch on the run or sit and enjoy the outdoor alfresco dining space, vertical garden and artistic apple orchard mural. The Cider Bar is open every Friday and Saturday night with a great selection of Ciders and live music for patrons to enjoy. Try our wood fired pizzas from The Heritage Bar and Restaurant, also offering classic pub meals for lunch and dinner with a modern twist, seven days a week. The Lounge, located at the rear of the hotel opens late each Saturday night offering a sophisticated club environment for guests. Dress code applies.
