Ballarat Golf Club reflects the significant cultural shift underway in golf, with two women in senior leadership roles at Australia’s oldest continually played course, which has also committed to the R&A Women in Golf Charter.

On Monday, we held our Cross Country BIG FREEZE Event.

It was great to see 100 golfers hit the course in support of this event.

Thanks to everyone who entered, we were able to donate $500 to the cause!

⛳ Our TJ Coutts Women's Monthly Medal ⛳

Congratulations to Pauline Murphy for winning the June Monthly Medal today with a fantastic 40 points.

Pauline hasn't won a Monthly Medal on the new course before, so well done, Pauline!

The May Monthly Medal was the one everyone wanted, with a playoff between Wendy Thomas, Michelle Dolan, Ann Zaal, and Lyn Wells.

The winner of the May Monthly Medal is Ann Zaal — congratulations, Ann!

Ann recorded a lovely score of 28 points.

Our Junior Golf Scholarship Program

For eight years, we've proudly supported the growth and development of young golfers through our Junior Scholarship Program. This initiative aims to empower two juniors within our district, providing them with the chance to enhance their skills and boost their confidence on the course.

Indulge in our 9 & Dine event happening this Sunday 7 June.

Gather your friends and enjoy a relaxed afternoon on the course, followed by a delicious warm, hearty meal in the clubhouse. It’s the perfect way to spend your Sunday with great golf, great food, and even better company.

At 2:45pm, you'll tee off, enjoy the round, then come back in for dinner at 5:30pm.

Members can book through the timesheet, and visitors can fill out the entry form via the website.

Get ready for one of the most fun and unique events on the calendar when the Big Freeze Cross Country Single Stableford tees off on Monday 8th June.

With a one-tee start from 9:00am and an entry fee of just $15 per player, golfers will take on a crazy and creative course layout featuring 8 holes of cross-country golf with everything from Par 2s through to Par 8s — and even a Par 10 for the women! Expect plenty of laughs, unexpected challenges and shots you'll be talking about long after the round is over.
More importantly, you'll be helping a great cause. As part of Big Freeze 12, $5 from every entry will be donated directly to support the fight against Motor Neurone Disease. Play, donate and make a difference while enjoying a fantastic day of golf.
