We get all kinds of people come to visit us at the Tavern, whether just stopping in for a drink, joining the family or friends for a meal, or making the most of a weekend, we don't discriminate and welcome all travellers to join us for a good time.

Friday night raffles are back this weekend, supporting the local schools with meat trays, 6-packs and vouchers up for grabs! Sold throughout the week, and drawn from 7pm.

We've also got Beef and Veg Curry with Rice as this week's special, a perfect winter warmer for these cold nights we've had lately!

And last but not least, come and join us on Sunday from 2pm for some Karaoke! The stage is set, and ready for you to show us what you're made of!

Here is our current bistro menu, as of the end of March 2026!

Lunch hours are 11:30am-2pm every day.
Dinner is from 5:30-7:30pm Wednesday + Thursday, and from 5:30-8pm Friday + Saturday.
Pizzas are available from 4pm until close Sunday to Tuesday.

Takeaway orders are always welcome, please call us on 4156 1206 and we'll be happy to take your order!
Please note there is $1 surcharge on takeaway meals (not including pizzas).

Tonight to send off 2022, we have Frostbite out on the stage from 6pm till late!
This local band is sure to be a hit with young and old, and they'll be playing through until the start of 2023, so don't hesitate to come round
The bistro is open from 5:30 also if you're looking for a New Year's feed!

Melbourne Cup Luncheon- Continuous Raffle 🏆
Hi all!! Earlier in the year we had the help of the Yandaran Rural Fire Brigade to supply water to our Colour Run 😎 We are so happy to have them working alongside us again at our Melbourne Cup Luncheon 🐎 Annette and her crew will be running the Continuous Raffle and she has a wonderful collection of prizes all ready to go with more to add!! You don't want to miss this Cup Day at the Avondale Tavern- it's going to be fantastic 🤩
