Beef & Burgundy Mondays at The Rising Sun.

For Monday dinner, we’re serving Mayura Station Wagyu beef bourguignon with mash, paired with a glass of Shiraz Cabernet for $39.

It’s a proper winter dish with old French roots, rich, comforting and made for a cold night at the pub.

Available every Monday night for dinner, alongside our regular menu.

SUNDAY ROAST AT THE RISING SUN

This Father's Day, we're serving roast Wagyu beef with horseradish cream and all the trimmings, made for a proper Sunday lunch at the pub. Plus, we're shouting all dads who are enjoying the roast a glass of house red or schooner of tap b**r on us.

Available from 12pm until sold out.

Drop in for a long lunch, a glass of Clare Valley w**e, and a relaxed Sunday in Auburn.

Friday Happy Hour and meat tray raffle at The Rising Sun.

Every Friday, a local community group comes in during Happy Hour to run the raffle, with the meat tray prepared by Clare Valley Meats and all raffle proceeds going back to local causes. We are excited to welcome families of the Auburn Primary School over the next four weeks, with their SRC leading the fundraising efforts.

Join us from 4pm to 6pm for Happy Hour, grab your meat tray tickets, and stick around for the draw at 6pm.

Once a month for New W**e Wednesday, we’re handing over a corner of the Front Bar to a guest w**emaker.

First up, we'll welcome Sue Bell of Bellwether W**es in Coonawarra on Wednesday, 23 September. She'll be joining us to pour a selection of her w**es and have a chat from 5pm to 6pm in the front bar. The tasting is open to everyone, so there’s no need to book. Just come along and grab a glass.

Afterwards, Sue will join us for a two-course dinner with matched Bellwether w**es. Over dinner, she'll share more about the w**es, her approach to w**emaking and Bellwether, with plenty of opportunity to ask questions and talk w**e around the table.

New W**e Wednesday at The Rising Sun, where we open something special under Coravin and pour it by the glass.

Tonight, we’re pouring the 2024 Eric Louis Sauvignon Blanc from France.

Made by Domaine Eric Louis in Thauveney, near Sancerre in France’s Loire Valley. Grown on the limestone and clay-rich soils of the region, it’s a crisp, aromatic Sauvignon Blanc with passionfruit, citrus zest and a chalky mineral character. Fresh acidity keeps everything bright, with a clean, dry finish.

SUNDAY ROOTS & BLUES

Live at The Rising Sun this Sunday from 1–4pm, featuring Mick Kidd and David Blight.

On Father's Day, The Rising Sun looks forward to welcoming Mick Kidd and David Blight. They have been playing together since 2011, bringing guitar, harmonica and plenty of blues experience to the stage. The Adelaide duo have performed around Australia and in Memphis, with David also known for his long association with Cold Chisel. Together, they play a stripped-back mix of acoustic blues and original music.

Join us from 12noon for our Sunday Roast, featuring roast Wagyu beef. All dad's enjoying the roast will receive a schooner of tapa b**r or a glass of house w**e on us! Bookings recommended, but not essential. Until sold out.

There's still time to settle in for Father’s Day at The Rising Sun.

We’ll be serving roast Wagyu beef with horseradish cream and all the trimmings, made for a proper Sunday lunch at the pub.

Dads enjoying the roast will enjoy a schooner of tap b**r or a glass of house red on us.

Mick Kidd & David Blight will be playing live from 1pm to 4pm in the Front Bar.
