Our vision is to create a central hub where the eSports community can indulge in our favourite games as well as some of our favourite beverages. We will be offering a wide range of games at the bar including (but not l

imited to) Dota 2, League of Legends, CS GO, Overwatch, various fighting and sports games, as well as many classics. Not only will these games be available to play, we will also be running broadcast events, tournaments and casual meet ups for all your favourite games. Although we are currently still in the planning phase, we would love the opportunity to hear your ideas and visions for what you think would make a great eSports bar. We will be releasing our farewell event for Saturday later today. It is a ticketed event so we can better manage the crowd and keep the crowd within our COVID limit.

It is with immense sadness that we announce First Round Esports will be closing from 27th September 2020. Despite the best efforts of our team and community, this year has brought with it the perfect storm of challenges which has ultimately led us to this decision.

We cannot thank you enough for the support you have given us over the past two years. Organising tournaments, parties, screening events and just hanging out with you guys has been an absolute highlight for the entire team. From Twitch Sings to Just Dance to Super Smash and MarioKart, spending our time playing games with you has never felt like work to us.

We will continue to be open Friday and Saturday evenings until the date of closure so you have plenty of time to come in, hang out one last time and say goodbye to your favourite Snorlax.

We will have a small farewell event in a few weeks to give FRE an official send off and to give everyone time to come and have one last hoorah together before we have to say goodbye.

Thank you for standing with us throughout these crazy times. It has been an honour and stay tuned... THIS ISNT GOOD BYE!
