Kristy and myself would like to take this opportunity to inform our DD family that this coming Sunday will be the last time we open our doors as the owners of The Daily Double Café and Wine in Ascot.
Words can’t describe the appreciation we have for all those that have supported us over our journey, from the Ascot locals, to our family, close friends and to all those that came in and enjoyed our hospitality, your unwavering support to our little gem is something we’ve never taken for granted and we will forever be grateful.
it was an extremely hard decision to make but one that we feel is the right thing to do for family at this stage of our lives. The incoming owners have some seriously cool things happening which we are also looking forward to coming back to enjoy and we wish them all the success and good health well into the future, please continue to support them they way you have with us and keep small businesses alive.
So please we would love to see as many of you as possible over our last few days so make sure you stop by for a coffee, wine or cocktail and say gidday before we head onto our next (very exciting) venture which I’ll share with you all in due course.
A special mention goes out to 3 of the best ppl you’ll ever meet, Finn and Nicole, Sean.
Finn opened the venue with me back in 2022, Nicole who joined me just under a year ago and long time friend Sean.
What can I say about these 3, my support blanket, my councillors 😂😂 my calming influence when things were tough, receivers of 4am phone calls to open the café coz one of the twins has stolen my phone and I’ve slept through my alarm, their constructive feedback, strategies and ideas are a huge part of what drove me everyday to get better and just all round good ppl, we consider you all as apart of our family and without these 3 we would not of been able to achieve what we have, so thank you very much .
