Toorak Cellars is both a bottle shop and wine bar located just opposite Toorak station on Beatty Ave. Our aim is simple: to source, acquire and serve to you, the best wines we can find at any given price point, from near and far. Whether it be something to accompany a mid-week pizza, or Grand Cru Burgundy, we believe that every wine on our shelves should speak loudly of the dirt in which it was grown and most importantly... be delicious. In the bar we serve a constantly changing 20 wines by the glass, or you can open any bottle straight off the shelf. We don't have a kitchen, but if you're hungry we have some creative ways of feeding you. See you soon at the Cellars!

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for an incredible vinous tour through the High Country, and to Chris for bringing such a fantastic lineup of wines and, of course, all the stories to match.

What a superb night we had with Tooabrec’s Sultan of Syrah, Mr Adam Foster. A wonderful night spent with great people, delicious wine, nourishing snacks and all while the fire crackles next to us.

It is impossible for one to talk about Australian Shiraz and not mention the name Adam Foster of Syrahmi in the same breath.

The Chef turned Sommelier turned winemaker is at the very apex of the pyramid when we talk about the flagship grape of this country. His passion was forged through vintages in the Rhone, uncorking many bottles through his time as a sommelier at the Lakehouse in Daylesford and exploration of the grape through 22 vintages from his home in Toobarec, in the Granite riddled hills of Southern Heathcote.

We are so excited to welcome Adam to the Cellars fireside, as he takes us through his incredible quiver of wines this Wednesday.

This event is sold out, but we do have a few spots still available for the remainder of the series that can be booked via the link in bio.

We’re so excited to welcome Sam Cloverdale of Polperro | Even Keel to the oak table this Wednesday for the second instalment of our Fireside Series.
The evening sold out quickly, but we’re opening a handful of additional seats on the neighbouring tables for those who missed out. You’ll still enjoy the wines, stories and warmth of the evening, just a little further from the fire.

To kick off our 2026 Fireside series we are very sexcited to Welcome to Xavier Goodridge to the oak table. Xavier crafts wines with a quite confidence that has given rise to wines of intense clarity, balance and poise as he has evolved his winemaking and farming from his home vineyard in Gippsland’s Maffra. 

It’s been a joy to watch his evolution over more than a decade and we can’t wait to taste his new releases of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay by the fire.

Cellars Fireside Series

The Leaves have turned red, the woolen jumpers are in the front of the wardrobe and the fire at the Cellars is now officially on for the season.

It’s our favourite time of the year as we welcome some of South-East Australia’s greatest winemakers and our favourite humans to the oak table to share stories, wines and great times while the fire crackles next to us!

Whether it be a group of 6 friends, a date-night duo or a solo mission, we keep the table size purposely small to preserve intimacy and encourage discussion so we advise bookings at haste!

Well, that’s a wrap on an unforgettable Summer BBQ Series at Toorak Cellars.
A run of Sundays filled with smoke, sunshine, and seriously good cooking - the best way we could think to start the year. We’re incredibly grateful to the chefs who brought their craft to the grill, our Cellars team who made it all happen week after week, and the guests, friends and family who showed up and filled the space with life.

We’re still riding the high.

We’re tallying up the numbers for the Golden Tongs as we speak, keep your eyes peeled for the winner this week.
